Silly things moms say

So last night while my mom (the philistine) was undoing my mixed media fiber arts installation and winding the yarn back into boring ball shape (I love balls, but yarn is more fun in its non-ball form) I got a little tired. I decided to find a comfy place to rest:
What do you mean, "Your side of the bed?"
When my mom came in for bed she screeched, "You're on my side of the bed!"
As if! Mom should realize that my side of the bed is wherever I happen to be the most comfortable.

You have to wonder with brains larger than us AND thumbs, how they still seem to be so useless??

Oh, you need to train her to sleep in whatever spot and position is best for YOU, regardless of how uncomfortable it may be for her. That's what we (finally) did with our girl. She woke up with a stiff neck today because Fig didn't want to move off her pillow and she had to curl up on 1/2 of space on the side of the bed. But she was happy to do so, if that means we were comfortable. :-)

My Mom is very strick about this kind of thing. She wants me to sleep on the foots of the bed, but Beckett, I do like you and lay where she lays. Its the best spot. If she forces me to move, I look scowly at her so she knows what a serious thing this is.

Good luck in the future and Kisses!

My people don't allow me on the bed. I tried that a couple times, and got my fuzzy butt yelled at.

The bright side is that Makeeta and Moon aren't allowed up there either.

But I have my revenge, oh yes! I sleep on top of the A/C vent, so the room gets warm in the summer, and cold in the winter... bwahahahaa!
