Helping Mom sew

I help my Mom with lots of things. (Really, I'm not sure how she ever managed before I adopterated her.)

Today, I helped her sew.
Beckett helps me sew

She started making a smock a long time ago, but got discouraged when she tried it on and it was too small. But a few days ago she was cleaning out the craft room and found the almost-finished smock and tried it on again and now it fit! So today she decided to finish it by putting bias tape along the back, neck and armholes.

Here's the finished smock (well, it still needs a snap at the neck but Mom can't seem to find those in the M-E-S-S that is the craft room):

And here's a picture of BOTH of us:

Your Mom is so talented, and pretty!! Mom loves her curly hair! That smock is perfect for cooking or doing dishes. Mom is always messing up her clothes when she does that.

I hope you didn't wear yourself out doing all of that work, Beckett. Maybe you should make a smock for yourself, too!

I love the picture of you and your mom!

Beckett! How do you not shed on that red couch? I've never figured out how to not shed on the couch. I can only get up if there is a blanket.

P.S. Your mom is pretty crafty! Maybe she can make you a matching smock.
