Two sides to every story

Mom's side:

A few nights ago, I was sound asleep until 3:46AM, when I was prodded awake by the repeated head-butting of a certain Labrador Retriever. Worried that he might be unwell, I sat up and attempted to ascertain the cause of his actions. He continued with the head-butting. I calmly and quietly requested that he cease head-butting me. Since I was up, I decided to use the bathroom. Upon my return, I found that MY spot on the bed had been stolen by Beckett, who had fallen back asleep with his head on my pillow.

Beckett's side:

A few nights ago, I was roused from my sound sleep by the knowledge that my mom was having terrible nightmares. I did what any heroic dog would do - I gently nudged her a few times to wake her up. Clearly still under the influence of these nightmares, she rather testily screeched at me, but I kept at my course of action until I was sure she was no longer suffering from nightmares. When she got up to go to the bathroom, I temporarily moved into her spot on the bed in order to keep it warm for her, but, alas, I was so worn out by my acts of nighttime heroism that I accidentally fell asleep there.

Readers, who do YOU believe?

I believe your story, Beckett! Your Mom was obviously so traumatized by her bad dream, she got confused.

I have my own bed to sleep on, but whenever my Mom's bed is empty, I go there. Its much more comfy than mine is.

Kisses,
Stella

I totally believe you Beckett, even though your team continues to embarrass my team and I can hardly stand it.

Dear Beckett: A dog named Maggie lives with me and she loves to keep my spot in the bed warm. Sometimes I have to nudge her over to Daddy's side though. Shhh... don't tell anyone!
