Hi Beckett,
Sounds as though your Mom and our Mom think alike. Mobile to NJ vs South Florida to St. Louis -- similar long treks. But, even though we're happy when we board at our vets, whom we've known forever, Mom misses us terribly while they're away.
Lots to think about. Pet friendly overnight stops, where to eat, where to go with dogs. What to take (we're not used to the cold, are you?)
